WorkWave is intended for authorized Alba Appliance Group personnel and business partners. Access is limited through account permissions and organizational controls.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how WorkWave is used, it may process:

  • Account details such as name, work email address, role, and sign-in information.
  • Service records such as customer name, unit or service address, appointment details, appliance information, notes, status, quotes, and invoices.
  • Photos or documents uploaded to support a service case.
  • Technical information such as browser, device, log, and security information needed to operate and protect the application.

We collect information from users, customers, property managers, and other authorized business sources as part of providing appliance-repair services.

2. Google Sign-In and Google user data

WorkWave may allow authorized users to sign in with Google. If you choose Google Sign-In, Google may provide Alba with your basic Google Account information, such as your name, email address, profile image, and a unique account identifier. We use this information only to create or authenticate your WorkWave account, identify your authorized role, secure access, and provide the application’s internal work-order functions.

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to determine eligibility for unrelated services. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, or other Google services unless this policy is updated to explain that access. Google user data is handled in accordance with Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

You can stop Google Sign-In access by removing WorkWave from your Google Account’s third-party connections. To delete your WorkWave account and associated personal information, contact us at the address below. Some business, tax, or legal records may need to be retained.

3. How we use information

We use information to authenticate authorized users, schedule and complete service calls, communicate with customers and property managers, prepare estimates and invoices, maintain case history, improve reliability, prevent misuse, troubleshoot issues, and meet legal or accounting obligations.

4. When information is shared

Information is shared only when needed for business operations—for example, with authorized Alba team members, a property-management client connected to a service case, or service providers that help host, secure, or support WorkWave. We do not sell personal information or Google user data.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.

5. Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect WorkWave information. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain accurate business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or securely dispose of it.

6. Your choices and requests

Authorized users can ask Alba to review, correct, or delete personal information they provided, subject to legal and business-record requirements. If you received service from Alba and have a privacy question, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

7. Visitors to this public website

This informational website is hosted using Google Firebase Hosting. Google processes the IP addresses associated with incoming requests to detect abuse and analyze service usage. Firebase states that Hosting retains IP data for a few months. Its global infrastructure may process information outside Canada. See Firebase’s privacy and security information for details.

This public website does not offer account sign-in, collect form submissions, or enable Google Analytics or advertising trackers. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you include and use it to respond to your request. The WorkWave application’s information practices are described in the other sections of this policy.

8. Children’s privacy

WorkWave is a business application and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the application.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when WorkWave or our privacy practices change. The effective date at the top shows when the current version took effect.
